There is this modern home, which its project is called as Cat Hill Barn. This project is done wonderfully by Snook Architects, which is actually located in Hoylandswaine, England, UK. Furthermore, from traditional barn design, it is converted to rustic interior yet decorated with modern accessories and decorative elements.
Check out this exterior wall of exposed bricks in dark brown while triangular rooftop has gray nuance. Lots of glass windows installed so people can see exquisite scenery outside.
Living room has very charming design of white walls and ceiling, whereas black stone is used for flooring part. Knitted carpet in shadings of gray tone is rolled out in front of light gray fabric sofas, which also have tufted accent in its backseat area. Then, modern home design is arranged by placing wooden bookshelf, white shelf board to wall, and several pillows in various designs. Black floor lamp is added along with rounded ottoman too.
On the other side, stone fireplace is built which is then used as partition to dining space and kitchen area. Log supplies are added in side area of fireplace. Kitchen has very modern look of white cabinets and drawers are chosen in pantry area. But, black drawers and elegant black countertop are used in island area instead. Place bright red bar stools too. Dining room is comprised of long wooden table and surrounded with gray chairs and vase of flower on top.
For second floor of house, it has wooden panels installed to flooring part, whereas for safety purpose, glass guardrails are used. Instead of installing star lamps on ceiling, homeowner chose to install them in lower part of walls area. Bathroom is fully covered with natural stones in black and gray shades. Light wood surface is put on top as additional storage, and for modern home design plans do not forget about white ceramic sinks.
Many of us today prefer open layouts, and a canopy bed is a perfect idea to make your sleeping area more private.
