The idea of extravagant use of glass material especially in contemporary home design never failed to amaze me. During this critical moment of environmental issues, contemporary house concept plays a great role in creating innovative eco-friendly home design. The eco-friendly systems doesn’t require something complicated that only a professionals could do, but also a simple detail that makes our living space save more energy as it could.
Here I have some picture of an amazing contemporary home reckon in Aarhus, Denmark. By being located in rural landscape doesn’t make the designer Friis & Moltke hold up their imaginary design to finally completed back then in last year. As you can see from the outside, green yard, white exterior color, endless blue skies, red leaves of autumn trees and mesmerizing glass walls blends perfectly and turns into a heaven on earth. On the other hand, you can expect more from the contemporary home design ideas as well.
This two structures contemporary home have extravagant use of glass material, weather it is used as pane, sliding doors, windows or concrete walls replacement. With strong and exclusive exterior visual appeal, the designer felt it necessary to balance things out to avoid overwhelming display. You can see rustic mood from the old wooden floor balanced everything’s out perfectly. Now let’s get to the inside and see how admirable the interior is.
One section area, the living room has rather spacious area with concrete floor, white walls and ceiling. There’s homey and friendly ambience in this area and that probably because of the custom built in wooden cabinet in the background, off white L-shape sofa and red leaves views from the glass walls. So you can also make beautiful outdoor environment as focal point in your interior, isn’t it just amazing? There’s also an eye catching table as well with rustic appeal and yellow mustard wheel so it will be easier to move. In contemporary home design ideas, glass and wood elements often blend together to support each visual appeal.
As you may know, gray is the hot neutral of this season. By appearing less harsh and stark than the black and white on either end of its color spectrum, gray lends a subtler feel to your space.
